S. Lucia
Today, once again, Mary invites us to recognize the value of promises based on the word of God and urges us to prepare our minds for the coming of the Lord. Following the example of the Virgin Mary and asking her intercession, we will, during Advent, to be more careful and vigilant in a renewed spirit of prayer and contemplation.
We interpret the watchful eyes of the Lord that the appeals are manifested in the events of our daily lives, knowing full well that in the small and large events of the story takes place the fundamental event of the coming of the Lord for us.
We do not want to risk not hearing the person who knocks at our door to be always near. We live together with Mary this time of waiting and ask her to guide our steps to the Lord. She now tells us with her Son: "Get up and raise your heads because your redemption is near."
